Pete Vaky is a Co-Founder and Managing Partner of VVS CAPITAL. He looks after the firm's investment in Brown Integrated Logistics Inc. concentrating on the addition of complimentary acquisitions to propel growth. He negotiated the purchase of Schrader Trucking to increase Brown's fleet and extend their client and geographic footprint. Pete is the primary VVS contact for sourcing debt and equity investors for the firm's investments.

He has over 30 years investment banking experience and is the former Managing Director and Head of Debt Capital Markets Distribution and Head of Syndicated Finance at SunTrust Capital Markets. Pete has raised funding for over 700 leveraged and investment grade issuers raising over $200 Billion negotiating financing with large, middle and small private equity firms for a variety of transactions. He has worked for Bank of America Capital Markets, Continental Illinois, Bank of Montreal and Wells Fargo and is the past co-chair of the Loan Sales and Trading Association (LSTA). Throughout his career, Pete has worked in Mexico City, Hong Kong, Sydney, London, New York and Chicago. He holds a BA with Distinction in History and English from DePauw University and an MBA from DePaul University in International Business. He is fluent in Spanish having lived outside the U.S. for more than 20 years.

Currently, Pete is also a Managing Director for FOCUS Investment Banking, a national Broker/Dealer firm serving the buy/sell side advisory needs of middle market companies. There he holds FINRA licenses 7, 63, and 79. He is on the Board of Trustees at Holy Innocents' Episcopal School, Chairman of the Haiti Task Force for Holy Innocents' Episcopal Church in Sandy Springs, a past Advisory Board member of The Verus Carbon Neutral Partnership, and an official observer on the Board of Directors for Brown Integrated Logistics Inc.. the leading logistics provider for the Paper and Packaging Industry in the Southeastern United States.

John Van Slooten is a Co-Founder and Managing Partner of VVS CAPITAL. He has over 20 years of experience in the capital markets. He has executed private equity transactions in a variety of industries as principal.

Recently, he was involved in the highly successful 9 year development, rollup, execution and sale of Western Petroleum, Inc., which has become a key energy supplier to the U.S. drilling industry in 18 states. He also oversees the firm's investment in Brown Integrated Logistics, Inc., the leading provider of transportation services to the paper industry in the southeast. Previously, he was the Head of Derivative Sales at SunTrust Capital Markets.

He has worked for Standard Chartered Bank and First Interstate Bank, Ltd. He holds a BS in Accounting and an MBA with Honors in Finance and Marketing from Brigham Young University.

Former CEO of SunTrust Equitable Securities, Inc. He has over 20 years of experience building highly profitable business models. He has held senior investment banking and capital markets positions with SunTrust Capital Markets and Barclays Bank BZW. He began his career at Shell Chemical.

He currently serves on the board of Georgia Youth Soccer. He holds an MA with Honors in Chemistry (Mathematics) from Oxford University - Queens College.
